Meet Dr. Ritabelle Fernandes
Physician • Educator • Musician • Artist
Dr. Ritabelle Fernandes is a Professor of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine and is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She is also a Licentiate of Trinity College of Music London.
Based in Hawaiʻi, Dr. Fernandes is committed to creating educational initiatives that strengthen individuals, families, and communities. She founded Full Circle Education with a vision to transform how people learn, heal, and connect through innovative educational experiences that extend beyond traditional classrooms.
Drawing upon a lifetime devoted to medicine, music, education, and the arts, Dr. Fernandes creates programs that make complex topics accessible, meaningful, and deeply human.
Her work brings together four passions:
